Propinquity Productions presents a staged reading of
TONIGHT AT NOON
By Jeff Tabnick Directed by Eric Nightengale
Illustrations: David Gassaway
Thursday, May 21st at 8pm
The Brick Theater
Williamsburg, Brooklyn
579 Metropolitan Avenue (between Union Avenue and Lorimer Street)
L to Lorimer or G to Metropolitan
Featuring: William Franke, Lori Gardner, James Jenner, Katherine Romans and Lee Aaron Rosen
Synopsis: Tim and Emily’s uncertainty in the world and themselves is stultifying. Then one night they are both overcome by dreams that fill them with confidence and purpose. Tim wakes up knowing that he must save his attractive co-worker from a man in a black mask by taking her to high-tension wires in New Jersey, and Emily wakes up knowing that she must save humanity by convincing them to stop procreating (Interestingly and additionally, their friend Paul is now living in the future.)
Reality rends, the future is foretold, lust is sated, ideals are lost, and somewhere alone in the rubble, Tim understands why uncertainty might not be such a bad thing.
70 minutes. Comedy.
In its journey toward a full production, I am now playing Tim (last fall I was Paul)

I had a blast in Cake's 3rd annual presentation of the beloved holiday classic—complete with old-time radio sound effects performed live on stage!
I directed the production again (as I did in 2012) and played several roles, including Peter Bailey and announcer Freddie Fillmore.

My short play The Gift of Bemidji received its first public reading on December 8, 2014 downstairs at Lucky Jack's, 129 Orchard Street, New York, New York, with the following cast:
Lou: Matthew Hammond
Dianne: Stephanie Weeks
Cheryl: Jenny Kirlin
Paul Bunyan: Todd Faulkner
Stage directions: Bradley Campbell
The reading was a part of Route 66 Rodeo’s first Roadside Attractions Reading Series, an evening of short plays “inspired by the weirdness and whimsy of American roadside attractions” and written around a holiday. The other plays in the evening were It’s a Wonderful Drink by Todd Faulkner and The Last Christmas at Wally’s Wigwam Motor Lodge by Alison Crane.
